Authentication Using A Simple Password

Simple password authentication enables all users to log in using the same password. However, keep in mind that this method offers minimal security and is not recommended for protecting sensitive data.

You must specify the password that users will use to access your Mini App. Upon visiting the app, users will be prompted to enter this password to gain entry.

All modifications within the Mini App are executed within Podio as if they are performed by the app itself, not by an individual user.

It's important to note that there is no specific current item context when using this authentication method. Consequently, the first screen of your app cannot directly display a detailed view of a specific item or related items. Instead, your app should start with a public view of items.
